The Big Read

The Big Read was a survey on books carried out by the BBC in the United Kingdom in 2003.  Over three-quarters of a million votes were received.  I got this list of the 100 most popular books from the survey on Wikipedia.

I've decided to see if (some day) I can read all the books on this list...or at least give them a try.  The ones I've finished (or tried and didn't like) are crossed out.  The ones I didn't like enough to finish also have a * next to them.  The ones I have (or can get free e-books of) that I haven't read yet have ** next to them.
